Resonant Vibe was born from a shared commitment to youth, families, and community in the wake of unexpected change. When Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Lake Michigan Region closed its doors, we (former staff) knew the work couldn't end there.

 

We saw the positive impact that mentorship had on the youth in our community. We saw the strength in the relationships that had formed in the matches that had been together and the bonds that were being created in newer matches. We heard the stories of parents seeking support. We felt the heartbreak from the community when we delivered the news of BBBS closing.  And we chose to act.

 

Resonant Vibe is more than a nonprofit - it’s a movement to provide connection, trust, and hope through mentoring.

We’re building from the ground up, starting in Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties in Indiana, and expanding as resources and partnerships allow.

 

Our focus is simple, but powerful:

WHY WE EXIST

We believe that mentorship is one of the most transformative tools a community can offer. We also believe that families should have the support they need, when they need it. That’s why we’re here - to walk alongside young people, support the adults who raise them, and bring our community into harmony around shared care.

 

WHERE WE ARE STARTING

Right now, Resonant Vibe is focused on serving families in Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties. As a newly formed organization, we’re working hard to build sustainable programs that are inclusive, safe, and deeply rooted in community voice.
