PARENT & YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL

At Resonant Vibe, we value the voices of the people we serve. Our Parent and Youth Advisory Councils give families and young people a platform to share ideas, provide feedback, and help shape programs that matter. Members meet regularly and collaborate with our board and staff to ensure programs are meaningful, engaging, and impactful for our community.

PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL

We’re exploring the creation of a Parent Advisory Council at Resonant Vibe. This group would give parents and caregivers a platform to share feedback, offer ideas, and help shape programs that support youth and families in our community.

Council members would meet approximately every 6–8 weeks for 60–90 minute sessions, either in person or virtually, with opportunities to provide input between meetings through surveys or emails.

The council would serve as a bridge between families and our Board of Directors, sharing insights, highlighting family needs, and helping ensure that the family voice is represented in program planning and decisions. While council members do not have formal voting authority on the board, their guidance and feedback would be highly valued and help shape Resonant Vibe’s work.

If you’re interested in shaping the future of our programs and ensuring families have a voice in our work, this could be a meaningful way to get involved.

YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL

We’re also excited to explore the creation of a Youth Advisory Council. This council will give young people a chance to share their ideas, provide feedback, and help shape programs that directly impact youth in our community. It’s a way for members to have a voice, build leadership skills, and make a real difference in the programs they participate in.

Council members would meet approximately every 6–8 weeks for 60–90 minute sessions, either in person or virtually, with opportunities to provide input between meetings through surveys, discussions, or creative projects.

The Youth Advisory Council would work closely with the Board of Directors by sharing insights, highlighting priorities from a youth perspective, and helping the board better understand the needs and interests of the youth we serve. While council members do not have formal voting authority on the board, their contributions would play a key role in shaping programs, events, and initiatives.

If your child is interested in helping shape Resonant Vibe’s programs and making a positive impact in the community, this is a great way to get involved.
