THE EMPOWERED PROJECT

PARENT SUPPORT & MENTORING PROGRAM

The Empowered Project, our Parent Support and Mentoring program, empowers caregivers with the tools and support they need to navigate life's challenges.

 

Through one-on-one mentoring, parents gain skills to confidently advocate for themselves and their children. When needed, our trained advocates can walk alongside parents to serve as third-party witnesses and support during meetings with schools or agencies, ensuring parents are heard, respected, and informed every step of the way. 

Eligibility: 

  • Have legal guardianship of a child or children 0 - 18 years old

  • Live in Elkhart or St. Joseph County, Indiana

*Residents of Indiana counties outside our service area may be eligible. Eligibility determined on a case by case basis.
