Jetta Cruse is a passionate advocate for artistic expression, dedicating her career to helping students of all abilities discover their unique performance talents. As the founder of Adaptive Arts, she employs both traditional and innovative methods to ensure that everyone has the
opportunity to shine in the world of the arts. Jetta and her team teach multiple instruments, as well as dance and theater classes, and they are enthusiastic champions of the special needs community.
With over 30 years of experience as a professional musician, Jetta is best known for her dynamic role in Jetta and the Jellybeans. Although she retired this act in 2013, the theatrical rock band captivated children with engaging and educational songs reminiscent of the beloved
themes found in Schoolhouse Rock. Jetta and the Jellybeans provided a vibrant rock ‘n’ roll experience that entertained both kids and parents alike, turning every performance into a joyful celebration of music and learning.
In addition to her work with Adaptive Arts, Jetta continues to perform with, The Jetta Cruse Band, delivering electrifying performances that reflect her deep love for music. When she’s not
teaching or organizing music events, you can find Jetta sharing her passion for performance, inspiring the next generation of artists, and bringing communities together through the power of music.

Mike Davis
Intermediate & Advanced
Guitar
Mike has been studying guitar since 1987 and has been performing for audiences for more than 30 years. Mike’s formal education include an Associates in Arts degree from Southwestern Michigan College where he concentrated on jazz guitar and a Bachelors in Arts for Classical Guitar from Indiana University South Bend.
Mike has been instructing guitar and bass in styles as diverse as classical, jazz, bluegrass, rock and many other genres for over 20 years. He is an instructor for bass and guitar for Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac Michigan and Bethel College in Mishawaka Indiana. His personal instructional studio serves beginners through performing professionals and even other instructors.
Many of Mike’s clientele have often remained in lessons with him for well over a decade. His students have gone on to be professional performers and instructors, major-label touring artists, band directors and more. Mike is currently an on-call recording session guitarist with a Grammy-winning producer for regional and national artists. His live performances have entertained crowds of over 20,000 attendees to sold-out ticketed events at major theaters like The Morris Performing Arts Center, The Embassy Theatre and many more.
The breadth of his performances include jazz, blues, country, classical, and interactive multimedia performances.
